About the Role

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer to join our Product Development team and own the native mobile experience on Rasters, our fleet management platform. You’ll build the apps that drivers and field operators rely on every day to manage deliveries, complete tasks, and navigate routes across some of the most operationally demanding industries in North America. 

This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering. You’ll work end-to-end across Android and iOS, collaborating closely with backend and web developers against shared APIs, and shaping how we build formobile across the team. 

About Rasters

Rasters is the operational backbone for fleet managers running large, complex vehicle operations across some of the most demanding industries in North America: construction materials, snow removal, waste collection, public works, emergency vehicles, and hazardous goods transport. 

The platform delivers the real-time operational visibility and control that keeps these industries moving. A missed delivery in concrete means a pour that can’t happen. A gap in compliance for hazardous goods means regulatory exposure. The stakes are real, and the software has to be reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Own mobile features end to end across our native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) apps, from product requirement through delivery 

• Build offline-first, building for poor connectivity, background sync, and device capabilities that matter in the field: GPS, maps, push notifications, and camera 

• Turn complex operational data, deliveries, tasks, routes, and vehicle status, into interfaces that are clear and fast under real working conditions 

• Collaborate with the backend team against shared APIs, with enough depth to own a feature end to end without handoffs 

• Write tests across unit, integration, and UI layers as a natural part of how you deliver 

• Influence mobile architecture decisions and raise the bar for the team through code reviews 

• Use AI coding tools as a standard part of your workflow 

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience 

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS), with demonstrated ability or genuine willingness to work confidently in both 

• Proven track record of shipping native mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play 

• Solid understanding of mobile performance: memory management, battery efficiency, and app responsiveness under load 

• A testing mindset with genuine care for long-term code quality 

• Comfortable owning work end to end with minimal supervision 

• Proficiency with AI coding tools as a standard part of how you work 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

Nice to Have

• Experience with both Kotlin and Swift at production depth 

• Backend familiarity, .NET and REST API design 

• Frontend familiarity and web experience with Angular 

• Mobile CI/CD and observability experience 

• French, bilingual is a meaningful asset on our team 

• Background in fleet management, logistics, or field operations
